Impact of visually impaired consumers’ knowledge on clothing size and care labels
This study aims to empower visually impaired consumers’ to make independent and informed choices when selecting and caring for purchased garments.
My name is Rumbidzai Madzivanyika a student from the Fashion Design Department at Tshwane University of Technology. I am currently studying for a Masters Degree program which requires me to carry out a research project. My research is on the following topic: “The impact of visually impaired consumers’ knowledge on clothing size and care labels.” This study aims to empower visually impaired consumers’ to make independent and informed choices when selecting and caring for purchased garments. This will be done by recommending effective size and care label communication systems, preferred by the visually impaired, to garment manufacturers. You are invited to participate in this research by answering the following questions in this questionnaire/Interview. You will not be required to disclose your name in this questionnaire/Interview; therefore the information you provide will be kept confidential and will be used only for the purpose of the study.
